      Unistak™ AOne Wall System™ is a steel chassis unitized rain screen wall system designed for mid to high-rise wall applications. The patented track receiver coupling system integrates all the traditional multi trade wall components into one factory fabricated wall module. The system has exceptional R-values, air and water resistance, and has no unsightly caulk joints that have to be maintained.

      The patented interlocking track system allows factory fabrication of unitized wall sections incorporating frame, insulation, exterior, glass fenestration, and non-vision areas. The panels are unitized in design to accommodate design building movement while maintaining water and air infiltration characterizes.

     This system is ideally suited for accelerated enclosure schedules, critical environmental envelopes, very space limited construction sites and seismic design areas.

Current Situation
     Mid-rise and high-rise commercial buildings commonly use light-gauge exterior steel framing attached to the slab edge in a “curtain wall” type of installation, to provide a support system for the outside skin of a building. These light-gauge framing assemblies provide versatile, cost-effective, lightweight, and noncombustible support systems for a variety of cladding materials including brick, stone, stucco, and terra cotta tile. Further, while light-gauge steel framing is commonly stick-framed, it is also ideally-suited for prefabricated panel construction which can provide additional economy during construction.

The Problem
     Traditional building / wall movement and seismic issues have exasperated mid to high rise wall design with regards to air and water control, insulation factors, and maintenance of control joints. Solutions have been a mix of non-complementary compromised and complex detailing for system integration.
